Matt started his career training as a Design Engineer. Switching paths after studying a Masters in Sustainable Development he focussed on the human challenges facing climate change. Graduating through a Local Government management scheme, he then led Exeter Community Initiatives giving him the firm foundation in understanding organisational resilience and deep understanding of the issues caused by inequality & poverty.
He is passionate and works honestly to seek ways we can create solutions fit for the future.
Simon originally trained in Hotel and catering management and ran his own catering business, so is well versed in putting the customer first. He went on to lead transformational change in Local Government, turning round a failing housing service and then strategic commissioning of adult social care, before moving to the voluntary sector and setting up Torbay Community Development Trust 10 years ago and leading the Ageing Well Torbay Programme https://ageingwelltorbay.com/legacy/ and the Imagine this…partnership Home – Imagine This Torbay
